Keyboard shortcuts
Move through conversations, compose messages, and open Inbox tools with your keyboard.
Use keyboard shortcuts to move through your queue and reply faster. The Keyboard shortcuts dialog keeps the available Inbox shortcuts in one place.
Open the shortcuts dialog
Who can do this: the owner or members whose role includes viewing conversations.
Press ? in Inbox while focus is outside a text field. You can also open Quick actions with Ctrl+K on Windows or Cmd+K on Mac, search for Keyboard shortcuts, and select it.
Shortcuts
These are the entries shown in the dialog:

| Alt + Up / Down | Open the previous / next conversation in the filtered list |
| Up / Down | Move focus between conversation rows |
| Home / End | Focus the first / last conversation row |

| Shift + Enter | Start a new line |
| / | Find a saved reply while typing a message |
| Esc | Close search or a panel |
| ? | Show these shortcuts outside text fields |
Good to know
Message actions still depend on your access and the reply window. Row navigation applies to the loaded, filtered conversation list. Up/Down moves focus without opening a row; Enter/Space opens it.
When saved reply suggestions are open, Up/Down chooses a suggestion and Enter or Tab inserts it. Esc dismisses the suggestions. Review the inserted reply before sending.
