Members

Invite teammates with a one-time token, assign roles, and suspend, reactivate, or remove access.

Open Settings > Members to see who has access to your workspace. As the owner, you can invite teammates, give them roles, and manage their access.

Before you start

Select the correct workspace. For an invitation, have the teammate's email address. To assign permissions, create a role first.

Who can do this: the workspace owner can invite people, manage roles, suspend, reactivate, and remove members.

Invite a member

Open the invitation form

In Members, select Invite member (1).

Enter the email

In Invite a member, enter the teammate's Email (1), then select Send invitation (2).

Copy and share the token

Use Copy token beside Invitation token. Share it directly with the intended teammate before closing the dialog.

The token is shown once and can be used once. Watification does not send an invitation email. Copy and share the token before closing the dialog.

Help your teammate join

Ask your teammate to sign in with the email address you invited. They then open /invitations/accept?token=YOUR_TOKEN on the dashboard site, replacing YOUR_TOKEN with their complete token.

The page accepts the invitation automatically and opens the workspace. If they are redirected to sign-in, they should finish signing in and open the invitation address again. See create or join a workspace.

Manage a member's roles

Open the member's roles

Open Member actions (2) beside the member, then choose Manage roles.

Assign or revoke roles

Turn on the switch beside an active role (1) to assign it immediately. To remove a role, turn off its switch and confirm with Revoke role.

A member can have more than one role.

Permissions from active roles add together. Only active roles appear in this dialog. If it shows No roles yet, create a role under Settings > Roles.

Suspend or reactivate a member

Pause access

Open Member actions for an active member. Choose Suspend, then confirm with Suspend member. Their workspace access pauses.

Restore access

Open Member actions for a suspended member and select Reactivate. This takes effect without a confirmation dialog. Their previous role assignments are kept during suspension.

Remove a member

Open Member actions, choose Remove, then confirm with Remove member. This removes the person's access to this workspace.

Use suspension for a temporary pause. Removal ends membership and old role assignments are revoked. The workspace owner's membership cannot be suspended or removed.

Good to know

  • Your own row shows You. Other rows currently show Member and a shortened identifier rather than the teammate's name or email. Copy member ID copies that identifier.
  • Invitations that are expired, revoked, or already used cannot be accepted. Check the acceptance error with the teammate.
  • There are no invitation history, resend, or revoke controls on this page.
