Account overview
Sync your WhatsApp account, review Meta notices, and find the messaging limits for each phone number.
Open a WhatsApp account from Channels to review its Overview. Use it to check business details and follow notices that need your attention before your team sends messages.
Who can do this: the workspace owner or members whose role includes viewing channel connections. Sync requires managing channel connections.
Open and sync an account
Open the account
In Channels, select the account's name or Open. On its Overview, the Account card (1) shows Business name, Currency, Country, Time zone, Review status, and Business verification.
Refresh details from Meta
Select Sync (2) to refresh the account and its phone numbers. Wait for the success message. You can also sync from the account card in Channels or the account's Phone numbers page.
On the account card in Channels, incoming-message status can be Receiving, Not receiving, or Unknown. It also shows the last sync and the active phone-number count.
Check limits and quality
Open Phone numbers, select a number, and use its Overview. Limits & quality (1) is on this phone page, rather than the account Overview.
| Field | How to read it |
|---|---|
| Messaging limit | The messaging tier reported by Meta, displayed as customers per 24 hours or unlimited. It concerns customers reached outside the 24-hour reply window. |
| Throughput | The throughput level reported by Meta for this number. |
| Quality rating | Quality high, Quality medium, Quality low, or Quality unknown. |
Meta's messaging limit is separate from your Watification plan limits. Meta applies messaging limits across the business portfolio. A value displayed on one number is not an extra allowance for each number.
Read account notices
Select Account notices in the account navigation (1). The Overview also links to notices when non-informational notices are present.
Each notice shows a severity, its type and event, when it occurred, and any available summary details. Notices can cover account review, account alerts, business capability, phone quality, and phone name review. Hover over the time to see its full date and time.
Good to know
- No account notices means no notices are listed; they appear when Meta sends account updates.
- The navigation count includes non-informational notices. The notice list can also include informational updates. There is no dismiss or resolve action.
- Missing account details can show Not provided by Meta or a dash. Account review and business verification details are fetched through an active number; an account without one may have fewer details.
