Template library
Browse ready-made Utility and Authentication templates and add one to your WhatsApp account.
Use the template library to start with Meta's ready-made content for common updates or verification codes. Browse Utility and Authentication templates, then supply the settings that apply to your business.
Before you start
Open Channels, choose your WhatsApp account, and select Templates.
Who can do this: the workspace owner or members whose role includes viewing channel connections and templates. Adding a template requires managing templates.
Steps
Browse the library
Select Browse template library. You can also open Template library from the account navigation. Choose a category (1), search, and choose the language. Use Topic and Industry to narrow the results.
Inspect a template
Select a template card. The details panel shows its preview and parameters. Enter Template name (1), choose Language, and fill in the settings available for that template.
Utility templates can ask for Website URL, a URL suffix sample, or Phone number. Some show Add contact number line or Add learn more link. Authentication templates ask for code-delivery settings.
Add it to the account
Select Submit for review in the details panel. After submission, check the template's status in the account's Templates list before sending it.
Library wording is fixed. Customize the available settings and supply variable values when sending. To write your own message body, use Create new template and the template builder.
Troubleshooting
Use Clear filters if nothing matches. Select Load more when it is available to keep browsing. If loading fails, use Retry. Meta checks library parameter types and lengths when sending, so use values that match the parameter description.
