- Reuse the original request and key to recover its result. Use a new key only when you intend a new operation.
Why this happens
- A previously used key was submitted with changed request values. OTP excludes the code from its fingerprint; changing it does not replace the original OTP.
Before you retry
Resolve the issue first. Do not loop on this error. For an uncertain POST result, keep the original body and idempotency key; use a new key only for an intentional new operation.
